Awards

  • 2024: I was awarded the Bernd-Fischer-award for the best STEM Ph.D. thesis at Lübeck University.
  • 2023: I was a highlighted reviewer at the NeurIPS XAI In Action Workshop.
  • 2022: My Ph.D. thesis was awarded the highest grade (summa cum laude).
  • 2020 award for patient safety in medical engineering by the German association for biomedical technology (DGBMT) and the Aktionsbündnis Patientensicherheit (APS), 2nd place. (For our work on surface EMG-based monitoring of respiratory effort, specifically these two papers: [1], [2].)
